Flute/Piccolo
Emily Buford is an experienced flutist based out of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Emily is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Flute Performance at Northeastern State University, under the guidance of Professor Catalina Ortega. Ms. Buford performs in the NSU Wind Ensemble as the principal flute and piccolo. She has represented NSU in the OKMEA Intercollegiate Honor Band, performed with the NSU Opera Workshop as a chamber pit musician, and performs with the NSU Flute Trio.
Emily has held multiple leadership positions at Northeastern State University, such as Woodwind Captain in the Riverhawk Marching Band and is the RMB's current Head of Staff. She is also selected administrative intern for the secretary of the music department!
